Hints and Tips: How to use your Navman GPS -
You may have seen a few articles lately on current affair
programs regarding GPS units giving users the wrong directions. Here's a few
tips to ensure you don't take a wrong turn with your GPS. Do you have the right
settings for your journey? There are often many paths to get from A to B. The EZY Series as well as MY Series has a new in-built Smart Route option which uses historical traffic data to direct you based on time of day and day of week. Your Navman also gives you the option to take the fastest, easiest, shortest or most fuel-efficient route. Make sure your settings are set to your preferred option and remember to check your preferred settings for each trip; for instance, the best route to take in metro areas will differ from routes in regional areas. |
